LAFFUA COMMUNITY PROGRAMME

You Capture It. Laffua Presents It.

The Laffua Community Programme gives people an opportunity to share interesting local moments, places, activities, experiences, photographs, videos and stories with Laffua.

The aim is simple:

Local people see local life first. Laffua helps present it to a wider audience.

Who Can Participate?

The programme may be open to:

• Local residents;

• Students;

• Professionals;

• Business owners;

• Photographers;

• Videographers;

• Community members;

• Visitors; and

• Anyone who captures something interesting about the local community.

Professional equipment or professional experience is not required.

What Can You Share?

You may share:

Local Places

Markets, streets, neighbourhoods, landmarks, parks, food places and other places of local interest.

Local Life

Festivals, celebrations, cultural activities, community gatherings, traditions and everyday moments.

Local People & Stories

Interesting local stories, achievements, personalities and community activities.

Local Activities

Events, sports, performances, exhibitions, educational activities and community initiatives.

How It Works

1. Capture

Notice something interesting and capture it.

2. Share

Submit your photograph, video, story or other contribution through the designated Laffua channel.

3. Review

Laffua reviews the submission for relevance, suitability and usability.

4. Select

Laffua may select the contribution for possible publication.

5. Present

Laffua may edit, combine, format or otherwise develop the material for presentation.

6. Credit

Where appropriate, Laffua may identify the contributor.

You do not need to create a professionally produced video.

You may simply capture the moment.

Laffua may then add:

• Editing;

• Music;

• Voice-over;

• Text;

• Graphics;

• Context;

• Sequencing; or

• Other editorial treatment.

Community:

Observe → Capture → Share

Laffua:

Review → Curate → Edit → Present

Editorial Control

Submission does not guarantee publication.

Laffua may:

• Accept;

• Reject;

• Edit;

• Crop;

• Combine;

• Reformat;

• Postpone; or

• Decide not to publish

a contribution.

Laffua retains editorial control over material published through its platforms.

Your Responsibility

Please submit only material that you have the right to share.

Do not knowingly submit material that:

• Infringes copyright;

• Violates privacy;

• Is unlawful or harmful;

• Misrepresents an event;

• Belongs to another person without appropriate permission; or

• Violates another person's rights.

Where identifiable people are prominently featured, contributors should consider whether appropriate permission or consent is required.

Credit

Where community material is used, Laffua may provide appropriate contributor credit.

Credit may include:

• Name;

• Social-media identity;

• Caption acknowledgement;

• Visual credit; or

• On-screen acknowledgement.

The exact form of credit depends on the content and publishing platform.

No Guaranteed Publication

Laffua may receive more contributions than it can publish.

Selection may consider:

• Local relevance;

• Originality;

• Timeliness;

• Visual quality;

• Usefulness;

• Authenticity; and

• Editorial suitability.

No Monetary Commitment

The Community Programme is not a paid content-sharing or referral programme.

Participation does not automatically create an entitlement to:

• Payment;

• Commission;

• Referral fees;

• Advertising revenue;

• Guaranteed rewards; or

• Paid employment.

Laffua may introduce recognition initiatives or other opportunities in the future, but these are discretionary unless specifically announced.

Community Recognition

Laffua may recognize contributors through initiatives such as:

Community Highlight
or
Community Contributor of the Month

Such recognition is discretionary and is not guaranteed.

Future Community Ambassador Opportunity

Laffua may identify individuals who demonstrate sustained and meaningful participation for a possible future Laffua Community Ambassador opportunity.

Selection may consider:

• Consistency;

• Quality;

• Local knowledge;

• Relevance;

• Positive conduct; and

• Genuine community participation.

Participation does not automatically result in Ambassador status.

Community Programme ≠ Partner Plan

The Community Programme and Laffua Partner Plans are separate.

Community Programme

People contribute local content to Laffua.

Partner Plans

Businesses participate in Laffua's digital showroom and brand-building ecosystem.

A person may participate in both, but one does not automatically provide the benefits of the other.

Paid Promotion

Laffua may independently use paid advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or YouTube to promote selected Laffua content.

Such advertising is a Laffua marketing activity and is not payment to community contributors.

Programme Status

Participation is voluntary.

Publication is not guaranteed.

Recognition is discretionary.

There is no guaranteed monetary reward.

Laffua may update the programme's submission methods, content formats, recognition initiatives and operational procedures as the programme develops.
